In memory of agricultural scientist and former Director of the Department of Agriculture, R. Haley, the Alappuzha District Agricultural Horticultural Society has instituted the ‘R. Haley Memorial Farmer Excellence Award,’ which will be announced by District Collector Alex Varghese.
