Collectorate

Collectorate is the Head Quarters of the District Administration leading all the administrative and disaster relief activities in the district. The   District Collector is the Administrative head of the District Administration and is assisted by the Deputy Collectors holding charges of General matters, Land Acquisition, Land Reforms, Revenue Recovery, Election and Disaster Management. The District Collector also holds the charge of the District Magistrate. While performing the duties of the District Magistrate, (s)he is assisted by the Sub- divisional Magistrate and the Executive Magistrates.

The district is administratively divided into two Revenue Divisions, 6 Taluks and 93 villages. Fore more details see Citizen Charter
